The Words Don't Fit :: Seattle Portrait Photographer

Just a quick post from me today since I have lots of packing to do before my photo excursion to New Mexcio in 2 days.

I saw this message written in lights while up in Vancouver, BC for the Olympics. I'm not sure if it was an advertisement or just art, but either way I really liked it & wanted to share.

2010 Vancouver Olympics :: Seattle Portrait Photographer

The energy in Vancouver was unreal during the Olympics

The streets were packed, TV's were up everywhere,

people were decked out in their country's flag,

faces were painted,

store fronts received Olympic makeovers,

Olympic rings popped up around every corner,

street vendors were everywhere (including this group of people giving out free hugs),

there was cheering & crying in the streets when Canada defeated USA in the gold medal hockey game,

and there were unique fans everywhere!

I feel very privileged to have been in Vancouver and had so much fun taking part in the festivities!

more Amandruary fun

Here are some more fun things I've done this Amandruary...

* ate a whole bag of peanut M&M's

* watched the stars (thanks Seattle weather for being so great this month!)

* jumped on trampolines

* had a slumber party with friends

* layed out and soaked up the sun

* went hot tubbing

* ate extra cupcakes at my birthday party

* went to a couple 2pm happy hours

* sat in a cozy chair at Starbucks & read an amazing book

* got on the jumbo-tron (twice!) during a Thunderbirds hockey game

* went for a couple late night jogs along the water

* left this morning for a week's vacation to the Olympics in Vancouver, BC (look for me in the stands on Tuesday's 12:00 hockey game!)
